74%of EEG researchers report hardware problems with curly or afro-textured hair.
5 / 81reviewed EEG papers included any Black participants, and none confirmed data quality.
90%of researchers say a hardware solution would directly help their work.
The problem

EEG was built for one type of hair.

Standard cup and disc electrodes cannot reach the scalp through thick, curly or afro-textured hair. Participants are excluded, data is lost, and whole populations go unstudied.

74%

of researchers hit this, and leading manufacturers, clinics and research groups agree it is a design problem, not a limit of the science.

The electrode

Passive, drop-in, built for every hair type.

It behaves like the cup and disc electrodes you already use and connects to your existing amplifier. The difference is that it actually reaches the scalp.

01

Universal contact

Reliable scalp contact across straight, wavy, curly, coily and afro-textured hair, with no preparation.

02

Standard connector

1.5 mm DIN TP (DIN42802), compatible with BrainProducts, g.tec, BioSemi, ANT Neuro and more.

03

Research grade

Built to the requirements of academic research, clinical EEG and consumer BCI.
