EEG has worked best on fine, straight hair for decades. Fixing that at the electrode means hardware design, materials, signal processing, regulatory work and clinical relationships, in a team small enough that you would own your part of it.

Work that closes a real gap

Participants get excluded from brain research because of their hair. Patients get worse recordings for the same reason. Fixing that is the whole job.

A small team, and a long road.

There are no open roles, no funding round to announce, and a certification path measured in years. There is a device that works, labs waiting for it, and a problem nobody else is solving. If that appeals to you more than it worries you, write.
