The Syn-R1 contact mechanism, housing and springs lit by streaks of blue light
Partners

Bring inclusive EEG to your product line, or your market.

Early adopters are validating Syn-R1 now. If you build EEG hardware and want the mechanism in your own products, or you distribute EEG equipment and want to carry it in your region, we would like to hear from you. Clinicians and hospitals have their own page: register clinical interest.

For manufacturers and OEMs

License the technology

If you build EEG hardware and want to embed this into your own product line, we license the patent-pending design. We can start with an evaluation and a validation study before any commitment.

For distributors

Carry Syn-R1 in your market

If you supply EEG equipment to labs or hospitals, we are building a small network of distribution partners for the research edition now, and the clinical edition once certified. Tell us your territory and the systems you support.

Talk about distribution →

Not a manufacturer or distributor? A student society has its own program, and so does any market where standard pricing isn't realistic.

Why partner

The gap isn't ours to fix alone.

Three reasons, before the commercial detail.

The market

It affects every product line, not just ours

Standard cup and disc electrodes were designed around one hair type, and every cap and electrode range on the market inherited that assumption. It is not a flaw in your product. It is a flaw in the part everyone buys.

The position

A filing you can build on

The contact mechanism is the subject of UK patent application 2615593, currently pending. Licensing it gives you a defined position in a category that does not have one yet, rather than a race to design around the same problem.

Regulatory and IP status →
The evidence

The case is already documented

We surveyed 55 EEG researchers, technicians and patients, reviewed the literature and published at the Graz BCI Conference. The people you would have to convince internally can read it themselves.

Why us

We would rather license this than compete with you.

We are a small team with a novel mechanism and a filing to protect it. Getting it into every EEG product line is not something we can do alone, or want to do by taking your customers.

How we work together

Low risk, and evidence first.

Every partnership starts with the technology in your hands, not a contract.

1

Introduction

A short conversation about your product line or your territory, the systems you support, and what validation would need to look like for you.

2

Evaluation

You test the electrode on your own equipment and participants, so the evidence is yours.

3

Formalise interest

A letter of interest to purchase or to license, on terms that work for both sides.
